just a short thank you note for the warm welcome - after my service I needed some time away from the " military circle" but your welcome is that exmaple of why I was drawn to the military way of life in the first place -it at least strives for excellence - but bc we are human still sometimes even in the military we fall short. when I enlisted and chose my career the military still had some sex/race issues with women but since I have left I've seen the slight preception shift ( more minorities and women included in advertising/recruiting) and just a more open attitude _ I'm still considering reentry once I get my bachelors in Radiologic Science -so I have seen improvements in that area. With this particular conflict in mind the women are taking quite a few bullets so I think we have arrived to a place when yet another "shift of perception" will be on the horizon. The military has come a long way on these issues - I just wish the civilian world moved as fast.
Once again thanks and a big group hug and much love and respect from the girl in Blue..
