DEPers-
I hope you all have a happy, safe Thanksgiving. Don't go out there and get so pumped up on fire-water that you get killed or kill someone else on the road. It would be pretty lame to come this far and blow your chances at becoming a Ranger, by partying unresponsibly during the Holidays.
One of the things that I am thankful for this season, is that this country of ours continues to breed young men such as yourselves, who continue to take one step forward to volunteer to serve and protect our many freedoms and liberties.
Even if you fail at becoming a Ranger (which many of you unfortunately will, according to the stats), you will still be serving this great country and protecting her from the many evils of the world.
I ask that each of you take a moment sometime today to give thanks in your own way, to the men and women who are currently serving in harms way, to those who have served, and to those who gave the supreme sacrifice for all of us.
I thank each of you for your commitment to becoming a U.S. soldier. Good luck to each of you and again, have a safe Thanksgiving.

Good words EP.
You DEPs, especially those of you with Option 40's: Remember when offered alcohol at any family get together or those following family get togethers with freinds, that most of you have a pretty substantial opportunity right in front of you. You get a DWI or DUI and you've ruined everything. Your opportunity will be snatched away, right out of your hands. Don't screw it up by consuming too much alcohol and getting behind the wheel.
Let someone else drive for a change.
