Shotgunning a Guiness?

Post by Nolie5 »

Dear Interested Parties;
Just wondering if anyone has tried it. It might be viewed as inappropriate behavior, but this suburban living could use a kick. Does one perfororate the can with and risk killing that little plastic deal? Thanks, Nolie5

With all due respect, you cannot have a Guinness quickie. It is indeed sacrilege.

I would suggest Miller Lite or something of that nature for a quickie. You don't want to taste those anyway. :D

That is just fuckin' wrong , no, make that fuckin' sacrilege, no,no,no...................get yourself a proper pint glass, open yer' can slowly, and pour gently, with the glass at about a 45 degree angle, and right towards the end dump just the last bit in, so you get the proper head, let it settle and enjoy the aroura borealis type show, and there you go ...a perfect, or as close to perfect pint.
To get the REAL DEAL go to Joyce's Pub, in Borris, County Carlow.....you will not regret it!

Try an Irish Car Bomb if you want to drink Guinness quickly. Take a pint of Guinness, pour in a shot of Bushmills Irish Whiskey, drop a shot glass full of Baileys Irish Cream in and slam it down before the Baileys curdles. :twisted:

Nah Nah, got to pour the Irish Cream and Whiskey in a shotglass as a separator and then drop them into the Guinness in a single shotglass. At least that's the way I remember it.

But yeah, the Irish Car Bomb is about as close as you want to get to slamming a Guinness.
