Introduction

Post by Splat »

This site sure brings back some memories.

Quick intro and then I'll close my piehole until I get finished reading all of the FAQs and sticky posts.

Joined the Army 10/87
Trained as 11B
Stationed with 3/22nd, 25th Infantry
Graduated Ranger Class 1-90 (yep.. leg Ranger)
ETS 2/92

Sucked at being a civilian for about a year.

Joined the Army (again) 5/93
Retrained as 11C
OSUT was a blast the second time around.
Attended Airborne School
Attended RIP
Assigned to Weapons Platoon, C co 3/75th

My wife decided she didn't like me or the Army and I ended up with custody of our 3 year old son. Having a family while attending training was tough... being a single dad while assigned to a Ranger unit was pretty much impossible.

EST (again) 3/94

Wow, you and I have a pretty similiar background. We were PV1's at Ft Benning at the same time, then on to become lightfighters.
