Intro
Greetings Hooahs,
I'm a former Blacksheep who served with some legendary Ranger names like Brimstin, Smallwood, Spear, Fuhrman, Meadows, Halterman, Hardy and others who were there in the mid to late 1980's. I picked up a book at the local Barnes and Noble last weekend titled "Not a Good Day to Die" about Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan and one of the major personalities in the book is Pete Blaber who was one of the A co XO's while I was there. Additionally, my former PL Tim Nye (now an LTC) was given props in the acknowledgements section at the beginning of the book.
I now live a much more mundane life as a school teacher in the Seattle area. I'm working on my doctorate degree and will probably move on to teach at a university once that is completed.
It's good to see that there are places like this in the world where the old timers can still locate one another.
RLTW,
Blacksheep22

- Been thanked: 1 time
Blacksheep22,
Normally I respond to intro's with: Welcome... But yours strikes me as different, because I think Teaching is THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB a man or women can pursue. Thank you for your service in the Rangers, but super thank you for taking a position were you can assist young people in becoming productive members of society. I SALUTE YOU!
