Uhhh, you DO know that Washington isn't adjacent to Texas right? According to google maps, you're suggesting a trip of 2,496 mi – about 1 day 13 hours for a 3-4 day weekend event.
Ranger Invictus,
2,496 miles is that all  , back in 1996 drove from Buffalo, NY to Los Angeles, CA with little short breaks.... although come to think of that ....I was in my car.

Ah what the heck....Hey life's short, willing to try somethings once and I haven't taken a vacation since I started my current job in October 2006 so I'm thinking of doing some sightseeing along the way and taking some time off before and after the weekend.

Yea......guess it was one of those questions that starts out with some modicum of concern but in this crowd the answer will never come back in any form except basic mono-syllables and grunts. 8)

Y'all just crack me up, I just noticed the play on words on Ranger Rock Island Ranger's question,

Warriorwife, LOL thanks for the funny, I needed the laugh today .

Ranger Rock Island Ranger, In all seriousness; no haven't ridden that far on a bike :? but at least I'm learning not to just do something when someone tells me it's too difficult to do just so I can prove I can do it....so where is the closest airport didn't see that in the post made by Ranger Invictus that Warriorwife PM'ed me. Never know I may need to fly in if I bike too far or find my bike is just not comfortable enough

Or maybe I'll need to just buy me a comfortable touring motorcycle :D

Ranger ., You know I was just saying to myself the other day, boy Ranger . sure has been quiet around here the last few months, really serously I did :)

Soooooo..... where could one find this info?! And I don't need no stinkin' airplane, from where I am I could make it to Texas on foot -- course I'd have to leave today. 8)
