I went through RIP with a SPEC 4 that was able to do it some how. My understanding is that it doesn't happen anymore. Send a PM to SFC hit_it and see what he can tell you.

i already told him the answer he didn't want to hear. as far as SP4's going to RIP from other units. NOT MY AREA.

maybe Rangers H8 and RRDTM3 can provide insight.

Will say when I was in if you went to drum and the 10th you stayed there. I had a friend try 3 times to get the RGT, once being where I call up an Major I knew that was working where the cut the orders (cant remember name of place now) he hand carried this guys packet over to the Ranger Branch, 10th came back up for rotation to bosnia and his shit got deleted. He spent 8 years at drum and hated every minute, almost left the army before they finely cut him lose to Alaska at reup time
