I still don't get this whole MySpace thing. All the kids in my class out here are on that site. I just don't get it.
Reading about all the asshats that pose on there, could keep me busy for days...
To each their own I guess.
I'm such a whore...

I didn't, and really still don't, get it either, but it is handy at least in keeping in touch with some far flung buds who, for whatever reason, don't use IM programs.GSXRanger wrote:I still don't get this whole MySpace thing. All the kids in my class out here are on that site. I just don't get it.

Many civilian employers now routinely review MySpace as an integral part of the hiring and promotion process, and the number is growing. Its faster and cheaper to do than a criminal background check, and reveals much more than reference checks. Realize that whatever you post there, in effect it becomes part of your resume.
I use it mainly so I can keep in touch with three college buddies, one off the coast of Africa, one in the Caribbean, and one in Chicago, during this summer.
I like to find slutty women on it
:(
Finding slutty women on myspace is like getting wet by going cliff diving.Rabbity wrote:I like to find slutty women on it
Yeah, it'll work, but there's better and safer methods.

With the "extra" work I do on the side, it astonishes me how many common people maintain accounts on MYSPACE. Not only, in my professional estimation, is MYSPACE FOR WHORES, but it's also for pedophiles, perverts, homos and extraterrestial beings.
My kids know that if they need to communicate, it will be with 1) someone they know, 2) over the phone or 3) via a secured, encrypted and controlled IM solution or 4) in person. This anonymous, and mostly FAKE form of communication is bullshit!
