Introduction

Post by Russo »

Hello everyone. My name is James, I'm a seventeen (soon to be eighteen) year old High School senior. I've taken the ASVAB (scored a 65..eh), and I've talked extensively with my recruiters about my future.

I plan on enlisting on my 18th birthday. I graduate in June. My ultimate goal is to become and Army Ranger, which I've wanted to do ever since I was 10 years old. I've been reading up on the Regiment heavily over the past few months and I came across this board.

I signed up here because I figured there is no better place to learn what I need to know about what's ahead of me than a place full of the men who have been there, and done that.

I am really excited about what I want to do, but I haven't signed anything yet because I don't feel I'm as informed by actual Rangers as I could be. I thank everyone in advance for any help, and the servicemen and women for their sacrifice.

Thank you Russo for your service to our country.

First off read the rules, use the search button for questions that have probably been answered before, don't become unglued if you get flamed by one of my fellow Rangers just cause you did or said something stupid, hang in there prepare yourself both physically & mentally you'll need both to make it.

Good luck to you and welcome to ArmyRanger.Com!

Welcome.

Be sure to look for an answer to any questions you may have in a previous post, I learned that the hard way.

Good luck with the recruiters and getting a contract you want, hold out for your desired options if you qualify.
