Not really but we found this car this summer and deemed it a "photo opportunity". Some jackass left it out of gear and it rolled down into the creek. Too funny.

Ahhh, those pictures brings back memories. My first car was a baby blue VW bug. Bought it straight off the showroom floor in 1973, fully loaded, (it had a/c and nice interior) for $2800. In 1983 sold it for $1500, and believe me it was used up. I loved that car!

Remember Woody Baker, our lieutenant that retired last year? The car belongs to his son so I was taking the pics with intentions of sending them to him. Up yours on the professor bit. Give me two coconuts, 2 lbs of sand, the egg of a pelican, and fern oil and I'll show you something.

IMHO, anybody swift enough to forget the E-brake when parking it next to a creek had it comin'.

If he can't see the humour in it, he was parking in the wrong place to begin with.
