Intro from a REMF Reservist
My name is Justin, I'm a 26 year old soldier in the USAR. Currently, I'm an E-5 squad leader for the 326th Chemical Company out of Huntsville, AL. I've also served with the 464th Transportation Company from Fort Belvoir, VA. My current MOS is 88L20 (yep, the Army's got a few boats). I've recently decided that a career change is in order, and am in the process of switching over to active duty. For a host of reasons, I'm hoping to get picked up for OCS and get branched Infantry. Then, after I've proved myself, I hope to get picked up as a PL in a Ranger Batt.
Thanks to all for providing such outstanding information to us outsiders. I've been lurking for quite a while, soaking up all the info I can. With enough hard work and resolve, maybe one day I can call myself Ranger.

Sgt. 60,
cool pics of the boats, the look impressive. but i pray to God that id never have to assault a beach in one of those things. fuck ... that. I didnt even know we had that sort of equipment any longer, thought it all went to the Marines so they could do their thing. Learn somethin new everyday. Oh, and welcome to the board Sarn't.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
As far as fishin' on the boat...it was a standing order to bring fishin' poles along any time we left the pier. You never know when the opportunity might strike!
And for the record, Bobalicious is my wife. She made her intro yesterday on the other forum (and in the process, inadvertently brought some smoke in my direction).
