Question about the APFT?

Post by MagNeato »

Looking at the APFT, i was wondering, are the situps and pushups timed events like the run or just max the individual can do?

Hey MagNeato,
Don't be like these other pogs that I've worked with (outside the Regt.) that do the minimum and then get up with 1 minute still available. Use the whole 2 min. and do the best you can.

I hated grading people that just freaking gave up and only did the minimum. I wanted to fail them for Lack Of Motivation (LOM)

I seem to remember a line that some one once said "....100% and then some."

Oh yeah! That was SGM N. Gentry in the Ranger Creed.
