I got a new Springfield 1911 that is all stainless steel. Really nice looking. Anyway I can't decide what kind of grips to but on it. It came with a black wrap around set but I don't really like them. Kind of bulky for my small hands. Any suggestions?

Depends on what you want. I'm will be ordering a new Springer Loaded in Black Stainless in the next few weeks, and I'm gonna put Gunner Grips on mine.

But if you are looking at slimming the profile down, you might look at putting a set of slimline Alumagrips on yours. They might improve your grip some, and the aluminum grips sure are purty, but they retain heat - if that is a concern for you.

Also depends on what your gona do with the gun, I have some cheap, resin impreganted grips on my kimber, they look like rosewood, with diamond checkering, they have been on the gun for 9 years, getting beat up and banged around and they still look new, I dont have a 1911 with wood grips but I have to wonder if they would have handled all the abuse
