Luna,
I was actually neither. I was an old time Frogman in the early '60s & a SEAL in the mid '60s. An altogether different animal.
My son is in the 3rd Batt. A co.

Sorry for the delay in getting back here guys. I was away for a few weeks.
you needn't get nasty about it. At the BEST of times I get on about once a week. When the weather is nice I don't get on at all. Sorry but that's the way it is. You wanna get nasty with this "Super Security Officer" (that's the way it's spelled) bring it on. I thought this was an introduction not an ongoing debate.

I think its been mentioned that Veriseal and other similar groups have UDT records going back to 1944. I would think that since all that come to this sight claiming Ranger have to prove it, that this claim needs some verification work done.

oh ya, welcome

Horned Toad is right. We can verify our own but if somebody comes here claiming to be high speed / low drag (SEALS, PJs etc.) we still need to verify their background to maintain the integrity of this forum. Fortunately, we have verification sources from our sister services to verify these claims. For extraordinary claims we demand extraordinary evidence. You just can't be too careful these days  .

I agree100%. The SpecWar organization I belong to have outed & uncovered several cases of posers recently. So far no Rangers but several Recon Marines, a Green Beret, & a "veteran" who hadn't served one day. We haven't been checking on medals & awards but after reading the cover page of this site maybe we'll start. Too few people, not enough time! Maybe with the WX turning cooler I'll spend more time indoors & on the computer. However the musky fishing will start to pick up soon & there's lots of ducks & geese flying & the deer herd is pretty big...

I agree100%.
Great ! Let's start with you.

We have all had to put up or shut up. Claiming to be a Navy veteran is one thing...claiming a SEAL/UDT background is quite another.

You should PM your full name to Spartan as well as your full team assignments (dates/places) so that he can begin the verification process with the SEAL/UDT Association. They have records of all BUDs graduates back to 1944.

Intel Toad's above statement makes sense.
I think the oter thing bothering us is a heads up from some other sites that a man who called himself "TOP" was thought to be a poser and with good cause. If that was you, I would enjoy hearing why. I would think with your name and details we can go to the AuthentiSeal and verify. All would be well on Planet "Top". If you just blow us off, we can reach a conclusion easily enough. As for Duck, Geese, hunting, fishing, outdoors, ect....I probably do more of that than anyone I know. I could find the time. If you dont want to play, Top...that would be fine. Just go away. Otherwise, post your shit and we'll take it from there.

Whoah I need to check Intro's more often.

In Top's defense it could be true, of course more than likely it is a few made up items on there. I find it hard to imagine a Frogman going from high speed/low drag to taking pictures of purdy things and talking on the telephone for 21 years.
