Intro for bull2808
Good afternoon Rangers, Veterans and others on the site. My name is Colin. I am 24 years old and have been registered here on this site for quite some time. I have lurked here just to absorb info on becomming a Ranger. I am not currently enlisted and have been working as a Personal Trainer for about the past 3 and a half years. My explaination for my username is it is a combination of my nickname and my dad's police badge #. I would like to thank all the military personell and especially the Rangers of this board for all the info I have received. I apologize for waiting so long to make and intro, but like my pop always says:" you have two eyes and ears for a reason meathead." Thank you.
I am still not sure wether or not I should join the Army or the Marines. I know that I need to be 110% committed on both and will probablly(sp) be deciding after November. I am also not sure wether I should go in as a 13f or a 11x. I have read good things about both and would not want to take an opprotunity away from anyone who really wants it. Ranger Bell, if you have any input I would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome to the site and good luck with your decision. Sounds like you have put a lot of thought into exactly what you want to do. You might PM Leatherneck. He has served in both branches and may be able to answer more specific questions, concerning Marines vs. Army. Good luck, whichever way you choose to go.

Other people were fine and you liked them and were good friends; but you only felt true tenderness and love for those who had been there and had received the castigation that everyone receives who goes there long enough."
