Checking in

Post by Flesh Thorn »

I was a regular Mojo member back in the day. A/3/75 85-86. Original joined this site when the founder was still on the green side of the lawn and went to a couple of the notorious ArmyRanger.com link ups. I left the Blue Ridge region of Virginia back in 2014 and am currently employed as a DOD civilian in the PNW not far from X-Ray.I recall when Disinfer......was a DEP. Honestly, surprised the site is still functioning. Another former regular had posted a thread on FB concerning this site from 15-20 years ago and decided to see if ArmyRanger.com even still existed. To my surprise.......

Like a bad penny some of us keep turning up! I just saw Glock the other day when I was out in Vegas. He is the one that pointed me to the site way back when. I have come across a few references to this website on social media as well. A Ranger related account on IG posted something in reference to it. Pretty sure it was just calling us old if you knew what ArmyRanger.com is/was.

Lots of great memories. Some not so great too. Glad that you stopped in.

Yes and I have managed to stay in touch with some despite Facebook's funny ways of limiting feed. I have had enough excitement the past ten years that I don't recall the rough stuff on here being that bad. I will take a shitty day with Rangers over most mediocre days with all the others.

I would agree. I just remember in the end there were a few untrue accusations made and drove some good people out.

Over all, it was wonderful. I know of several men who where in the DEP program that became Rangers with the help of several folks here. It was always fun to go to Rendezvous and meet them in person.

I always enjoyed the site. All or most of the topics were interesting etc. I sure met a lot of cool folks because of this web site. I guess it was neat to have site where everyone pretty much thought alike.
