Introduction - Collin
Hello, My name is Collin, I am 17 years old and nearing the end of my senior year in high school. I have always been interested in the military. When I was a sophomore in high school I became interested in wanting to become a Navy Seal. I began working out and training for this goal. At the beginning of this year, I got bogged down with school and other obligations, I stopped PT and lost the SEAL dream. Now that my senior year is coming to a close and I have free time, something just clicked again, I began training to become a member of the 75th ranger regiment about 1 month ago. I have taken one self administered PFT and here are my Numbers.
Push-ups (2 minutes): 80
Sit-ups (2 minutes): 80
2-mile run: 18:40 (terrible)
Pull-ups: 11
PFT score: 221 (fail)
I am currently training using the 12 week RASP plan put out by the regiment. I will be attending College this year and will be preparing for RASP while in school. I'm looking forward to being a member of this site and preparing myself as best as I can for RASP.

Hi Ranger Disinfertention and thank you, My current goal is to prepare for the Army and RASP as much as I can in college while getting what credits I can. College is a goal, but not my main one right now. I won't be joining the ROTC program and I'm not currently looking to be an officer.

Collin, I spent several years as an enlisted soldier before I went to OCS. When I became an officer, Commanders went out of their way to hire me as a proven leader. Never, never quit!

That is my current plan Ranger Jim, to serve as enlisted to gain experience before I even consider an leadership role as an officer.
