Sick cop humor

Post by RGR_Dan »

Last night we recieved a call to assist a local police dept in the hunt for a shooting suspect. After running the dog for about 30 min we came up with nothing. My buddy is driving down Cobb pkwy near I-285 (about 5 miles from the shooting) and runs a tag for the hell of it. *****STOLEN VEHICLE***** We fell in behind the car on I285 when we hear over the radio its possibly the shooting suspect or suspects ( 3 occupants) Well we hit the lights and the chase is on. He drives about 1/4 mile and pulls over before we could wreck him. When it stops the 2 passenger jump over the barrier on the right side of the road. The driver is taken into custody with extreme prejudice. WELL BOYS THEY SHOULDA LOOKED FIRST! we stopped on the bridge over the Chattahoochie! They dropped about 50 feet into 4 feet of water. We look over the side and one dude is holding the other in the water saying "let go mother fucker I can't swim" So some guys ran down and fished one guy out who we originally thought was dead. He is probably gonna die and the dive team (body recovery unit) is still looking for the other guy.

Whats the lesson?

LOOK BEFORE YA LEAP

Couldn't you have 'deputized' the driver as a Junior Lifesaver and pitched his ass over the side to 'rescue' his buddies? Good job, Bro. The world will be a better place now.

Excellent work there RGR_Dan. That story made my day except for the "As many as eight divers were sent into the river to search for the man." part!!

Good story Ranger Dan, I thought it was kinda weird though, just the other day here in Ohio, 3 kids stole a vehicle, the cops gave chase and pulled off a bit when they started going to fast (or maybe it was because the hit the Cleveland line? I don't have the whole story) and apparently the three kids hit a pole, bounced off of it and hit another one splitting the car in half killing all 3 kids. Weird coincidence huh.

Bad fookin news

Post by RGR_Dan »

The guy that we thought drowned has since called his girlfriend. But now he's gonna eat a murder charge because when we chased them, they'd just killed a guy in Marietta.

HERES THE BEST PART!

When they jumped they dropped the gun and the guy who got away lost his wallet which we recovered. In the wallet was the murder victims drivers license along with the perps drivers license!!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHA!!!!!

Outstanding!!! Good job, I wish I was on your Department to write your Commendation. Officer's acted quickly and without regard to their own safety in apprehending one suspect, the other suspect's, were taken into custody by being directed into a short term detention area where they could be contained until the arrival of assisting officer's or the coroner, whichever got there first....

Fantastic Work!!!

Godspeed,
