Rangers and those interested: Post MEPS SITREP
After a little bit of tug-a-war with my career counselor I was able to successfully obtain a 11x Option 40 contract with a ship date in the beginning of February.
I have constantly been pushing to improve my PT and will continue to do so with 100% effort and then some.
Thank you all who have given me little pieces of advice and words of wisdom and motivated me not to settle for any less than what I wanted.

Great job on holding your ground. Now that you've made that first step to get the contract, you've got to commit yourself 110% into being the best that you can be. The holidays are coming, don't slack off. When you start basic you've got to be in the best shape you've ever been in because basic won't keep you in shape for RASP. Continually work on your physical fitness, give everything you've got, ever time you give and never, ever quit. RLTWTHREEhotDOGs wrote:Rangers and those interested: Post MEPS SITREP

Ranger Jim, I am finding the mentee program helpful. The task list I have assigned myself is helping me with my Ranger history and is keeping my mind on the path to success. I am in touch with the other Mentees and we check in and motivate each other daily. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the mentee thread.
Ranger rangerjd, thank you for those words of advice and encouragement. I am forever grateful for the help all of the Rangers on this site have provided me.
Updated PT test scores:
PU: 63
SU: 50
2-mile Run: 13:50
Pull-ups: 7
I don't believe my push up form on my intro PT test was satisfactory and have been focusing on correcting my form since then. I believe this to be a more accurate representation of where I stand.

We have had some mentees who have not passed the BAC PT test due to poor Pull-ups. Never, never quit!THREEhotDOGs wrote:I don't believe my push up form on my intro PT test was satisfactory and have been focusing on correcting my form since then.
