Introduction- Eric

Post by boston0550 »

Good Evening,

My name is Eric, I am from MA. I am currently a police officer, yet I regret going into college rather than the military. So, I am enlisting while I still can. I am scheduled to enlist November 13th if all goes well. I still am undecided between 11b and 68W but would like to get an option 40. I respect the values of the Rangers and want to challenge myself mentally and physically. Hoping to receive any insight and tips as I read through the forums.

Sincerely,

Eric

There are several outstanding Rangers on this board from your neck of the woods. If any of them offers mentorship, I highly recommend you jump on that like a fat girl on birthday cake...

I guess my taking the time last night to send a 7 paragraph PM with advice on how to get a smooth start here and where some of the best answers and information to your questions will be doesn't rate a fucking response.

Chopped it off... I'll never understand how this happens but it seems to happen all the time around here. What I would have done to have an opportunity like that when I started my journey!

Goddamn cops.... (kidding Jeff, only kidding..) 68W gets my vote. Don't forget to use the "Ranger" thing when addressing the vetted members here. I'm sure you appreciate when people address you as "Officer"
