Hello everyone,
My name is Jason. I am 23 years old and a graduate from the University of Hartford's Business school or the Barney School of Business. I earned my degree in Business Management and received it in February of 2012. I am currently DEP Army Active with an 11x Option 40 contract and am coming in as an E-4. I was sworn-in in June and will ship to basic in January of 2013. I was referred to this site by several different people on several different forums. I am eager to learn everything I can about what I will have to complete in order to become a Ranger and am willing to do whatever it takes in order to achieve this goal.
Thank you and I look forward to speaking with you all!
Jason

Re: Introduction- Jason
Welcome and congratulations on securing an Opt40 contract.
As a first order of business I would suggest that you read every FAQ for the board as this is a very different website than most social networks. Ignorance nor lack of motivation is tolerated well here.
Before you post on any subject or thread, read the 'sticky's' at the top of each forum so you don't make the same mistakes as others before you.
Lastly, you're short on time before you ship, I highly suggest reading everything you can in the OSUT, Airborne, RASP and About Army Physical Fitness Forums here. That should keep you occupied for some time with a plethora of information posted directly by those who have been there, several who are recent graduates.
Others will be along shortly to greet you. Speak when spoken to, be concise, professional and to the point, the combined experience of these Rangers is beyond anything you can pull from anywhere else.
Good luck young man.
