Deployment PT

Post by mstapay »

I'm currently deployed in Afghanistan and I'm trying to get a few of my guys ready for Ranger school upon redeployment. With limited weights, and really no room to run around, what do you recommend to get potential Ranger school students ready while deployed? Currently we are doing a majority of cross fit and military athlete workouts. For example today we did: 20 mins on the min of 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, and 15 crunches. Afterwards we ended the workout with "leg thrusters" 10 rounds of 10 squats, jumping squats, 10 per leg lunges, and jumping leg lunges. Really I'm asking for more ideas so some of our current workouts don't get boring or become a routine. I would appreciate any ideas or potential websites to take a look at.

Sir, welcome & thank you and your soldier for all you do.

A minor snag here but it is our protcol for all new users to make an introduction post in one of our two forums. Please do so on you next post.

Generally we lock topics when someone comes along without a intro but I will leave your topic open Sir.
