Intro UnholyInfidel

Post by UnholyInfidel »

Im 20 and joining the Army. read one too many of my fathers books about rangers in vietnam. 2 years of college done. Went to my brothers rasp graduation in May; hes currently doing homework some doctors give him every night or something and will soon be at bragg for SOCM. My family has a long history of serving. Both Grandpas in Airborne in both theaters of WWII. (one joined after pearl harbor which he just got married 2 weeks before) Dad was 173rd in Vietnam at age 18, 4 first cousins in or left military; 2 MARSOC and 1 Rangers, 1 SEAL hopeful. MARSOC now in triple canopy and the other is a contractor that seems to have cut out the middle man. 1 decorated ranger cousin in the 75th currently along with brother

next week i go take the ASVAB. trying to get 68w opt 40 any extra advice not in the forums would be appreciated.. brother tried to get it but signed just for 68w and fought till he got orders for rasp

With that family background, there isn't too much pressure for you to perform, is there?

Get in better shape and understand that quitting is not an option. You already know what you need to. Just getting it done is up to you.

Welcome UnholyInfidel .

Now one small item - you are not yet in military & yet you are using REMF in your signature line. You have not earned the priviledge to use this term- so you can go ahead and remove it. No apologies - just don't use items you haven't earned.
