Rangers, thank you for congratulations, welcoming words, and reinforcing my motivation from the beginning. I kept this community in mind when times were tough.. I am staying here at 3rd battalion- the best battalion in Regiment. Hahaha! I'm sure those of you from 1st and 2nd would argue that over a beer or two with me. I look forward to meeting most of you on Fryer Drop Zone next month. So am I allowed to put the 3rd Batt scroll as my avitar now? Or do I have to wait until I fill out that packet?

Get that packet in, as you are already learning, this army thing is all about patience!
Meanwhile, find out where the Holiday Inn North is up by exit 7, that's ground zero for us FOGs, and look out for our nametags at the regimental BBQ on the wednesday of RR.

Does that mean they will be changing the 3rd Battalion scroll to Rainbow colors in the interest of gay pride and to honor the repeal of DADT?

I must be getting old as I do not find this amusing at all knowing that hundreds if not a thousand of my Ranger brothers have died with our present colors & heritage.

Ranger Steadfast your not getting old I stepped on my fun wand hard. My apologies to any past and present Rangers I offended as a result of this comment. As a guest on this site I obviously overstepped my bounds and set off a land mine. No excuses just accountability and will take any appropriate actions or punishment neccessary to redeem myself.
