Hello Rangers,
I am PFC B (name deleted by Admin - PERSEC violation) currently serving with the 81st Brigade Special Troops Battalion, WA National Guard. Enlisted April 28th, 2009 as a Medic. I am 21 years old and love my job. I have been heavily contemplating going active duty, but I would like to get the chance to go to Ranger school. My current Unit does send soldiers to schools if you are not a dirtbag, and you have never failed a PT test. If I do go active, I don't think that I will ever get the chance to go to Ranger school. So I am thinking that I need to fight for a spot to go to Ranger school through my unit, and then go active. Not sure if my unit would release me after sending me to school. I have also been reading into some of the LRS NG units. The Fiance hates the fact that this is what I want to do, but I feel like I am not doing my best if I don't, and I know that if I don't try I will always look back and regret not knowing the possibilities.
Current PT score from 2 months ago
72 pushups
71 situps
13:05 two mile
Thanks Rangers
