Back when I was in, I heard of the white thread deal and the scroll, but I never saw it. I can say that any Ranger that goes through in the dead of Winter, should be allowed to sew on his scroll with any color thread that he pleases! Lord knows it was cold enough in September on those Ft. Hood nights!
