Welcome to the board.

You will find that there are many hurdles between where you stand now and achieving a Ranger tab, or any other hard accomplishments in life. How far you go is determined only by your attitude and how hard you push yourself towards your goals. I also didn't think it was possible for me to be in the military - in fact, I was told I was permanently disqualified from any military service at MEPS when I tried enlisting in the Marines out of high school. My mother was extremely against any military service, and tried to talk me out of it constantly.

Flash forward now, several years of hard work later, and I have both a Ranger tab and a mother who fully supports me and could not be more proud. It all boils down to your attitude - never quit, stay positive, and you will be amazed by how much further you can go.
