Hello Rangers, I am currently serving my first tour of duty in Afghanistan. I graduated OSUT and ABN in August of 2009 and am currently assigned to 2/2 SCR out of Vilseck Germany. Spent a few months as a 240 gunner before being selected for the Company Sniper Section. Been working as a sniper team RTO ever since.
From the inception of my short military career this site has been the most comprehensive collection of information on all things Ranger I have found...hands down. I am currently in the working to attend Ranger School after this deployment, enroute to my next duty station. Every question stupid or otherwise I have on the subject is answered here with nothing more than a few quick searches. I cannot thank you all enough and I look forward to hopefully joining your ranks one day.
