Intro
Hi, I'm Gabe. I'm an E-5. I went to BAC in November of 2006 and have been in the National Guard's 19th SFG(A) for 5 years now. I like walks on the beach, getting punched in the face or choked out, and alternatively punching faces and choking people out and possibly bending joints the wrong way. I'm talking about Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I've been to Iraq before and have another trip somewhere overseas eventually. Someday I'd like to go to Ranger school, but it's not too high on my list, to be honest.

This is a refreshing change.
Whatever it is that you do in your support role, do it well. Be the best at what you're doing, the Teams are counting on you.
You're going to the wars and that's more than most Americans will even consider, much less do. Thanks for that.

Regarding Ranger school, I'm still young and I have a few more goals ahead of going. I'd like to get my first few fights out of the way, wait for my son to be born, I have a trip to the mountains planned out soon, so I can't just up and go yet, but perhaps after my long trip I will.

Welcome! Which location in the 19th SF are you serving? You say Mountains, so I'm going to assume you're in Utah?
