Introduction_Luke

Post by leadpersuasion »

Hello and thank you Rangers for your service and this forum. I am 24 years old and hope to learn a great deal from this forum to make a educated decision about joining the military. My goal is to determine if I have what it takes to be a part of the 75th Ranger Regiment and to learn more about the Regiment overall. Thanks to all the Rangers on this forum and I look forward to your advice and knowledge.

Welcome to ARcom. Please read and heed the ROE document I have just sent you by PM. Perhaps you would like to tell us more about yourself, your interests. You will need to take a PT test and post your results.

I currently live in Leesburg, GA. I graduated a private school in 2004 and have only some college credits. I am married and this June will be five years. I have always felt like the military was what I wanted to do, but I have put it on the back burner due to working for the family business. I quit college to help try a new family business but due to the economy, it has not worked out very well. Which, in turn, has led me back to the military. My church is where I really learned about the Rangers due to the large number of former or current members there who served in Regiment or went to Ranger School. As I learned more about it, the more I admired these men and wanted to join their ranks. So here I am.

PT Test

Push: 50
Sit: 38
Pull: 6

Much work to be done on my running to say the least, but I just wanted to post to let all you Rangers evaluate and suggest advice. I am reading on this forum as much as possible. Just for information, I am only 5'3" and wondered if the shorter Rangers knew of certain things that worked for them since we are physically built different. Thanks!
