Hope everything goes well.
I know how it feels to get DQ'd, I almost got hit because of my eyesight.
I kindly demanded for a retest and waited for more than 2 hours to get it.
Wasn't a very pleasant wait, I was going insane.
I passed the second time around.
Keep us updated, get that contract.

Definitely get more than one opinion. Remember, orthopedic surgeons do surgery. That what they do and that is always their solution. You need to see a sports medicine specialist. And do a lot of research on your own. It may be possible for you to rehabiliate the joint yourself through simple exercise. Here is a good starting point:

Congratulations for signing on the bottom line. Now you need to focus on being the best in your platoon in OSUT and BAC and earn your way to a RASP slot if one is available. Best of luck to you with "luck" meaning preparedness meeting opportunity. Get yourself prepared so if you get the opportunity you can make your own good luck.
