I think you already know what you want to do and that's go 11B. It's clear from your posts on this site that you don't like your job...we get it.
Stop spouting out problems that nobody can fix and start coming up with solutions. Rangers don't dwell on shit they can't control. They adapt and overcome.
1) You need to find out your options. Can you even reclass, 4187, RASP dates, etc??...do some research. Half of your issues can probably be resolved just by getting those answers.
2) Heal your ankle, rehab, and get in shape. You shouldn't have been running anyway if you were that hurt that you needed surgery. You won't go anywhere if you're broke! I don't see that as a show stopper if you heal it.
3) Be the best soldier you can regardless of how happy you are in your current position. Nobody wants to help "that guy"...it helps having your CoC on your side.
4) You aren't going to be the first SPC in the Army to reclass to 11B so you can check that worry off your list. You will be trained.
