I found my first poser today...

Well, a few weeks back i won 8 kick-ass tickets to a brewers game, which was today. It was a going away party thing with 7 of my closest friends. Well it was the middle of the sixth inning brew crew down 3-0. I left my 3rd base line seats to go see if i can con some drunk into buying me a beer. Well i'm strolling along looking for the right person to ask, when i see some college age kids drunk messing around. Perfect target! As i walk up i am preparing my speech, when i notice one of the guys has a high-n-tight. As i walk up i hear "o yea marine" the guy with the high-n-tight is a marine. By now i have forgotten about the beer. I now am thinking this badass is having a good time with some friends, enjoying the liberties he has probably faught for. Well i go up (now this guy and his friends are around 6ft 3 in and pushin 250) to him and i say "Your a Marine?" He says "yea". I thank him for his service and whatnot. Then all of a suddenly out of the blue his friend comes up and say "I'M A RANGER" i look at him (now mind you he is the same size 6ft 3 in pushin 250 and not muscle mind you) and I say your not a Ranger (his demeiner about him wasn't the same as the True Rangers i have met in the past). He quickly says "Yes, i am". I straighten out, I don't want to insult him or piss him off, or be an ass to a man who has given so much of himself. So i take this guy seriously, i thank him shake his hand, and tell him i have Opt. 40 on my contract and that i want to become a Ranger. I start to tell him about this site, and he starts to get a little nervous. So my BS meter starts to go up again. So, with my quick thinking i say, "what battalion were you in?" He says "second". I'm like "cool cool, soooo down there in Georgia eh?" He responds with "Yep, down there in georgia" B FUCKEN S! I say straight out, "Your not a Ranger, 2nd battalion is in Washington!" He's says "i can't remember, i was an infantry medic" I say "Shut the fuck up and don't pose for shit your aren't and will never be!" He lowered his head and walked away embarassed, as his friends are starting to leave as well. I never found out if that Marine was a true Marine.

Well it felt good to catch that POS! Without this site, and the knowledge all of you Rangers have given me, i might have believed this POSs Bullshit. Thank you Rangers, not just for me being able to catch a POS like this but to have the knowledge to make my ambitions of becoming a Ranger that much tighter in my grasp.

Hopefully that turd went into a shame spiral and hung himself in his garage.

A buddy of mine that plays football for a local college (his name is Drew) was out at a club the other night. Sometime during the night he met a Marine (not sure if he knew him before hand or not) but he ended hopping to a couple clubs with this Marine. Well believe it or not the Marine actually was telling people that Drew was a Marine shipping to Iraq the next day, trying to get him laid and what not. I couldnt believe it when I found out, a Marine actually encouraging a civilian to pose. So he has people coming up to him thanking him, and girls kissing on him and shit. And ended up getting busted a couple times by people that knew what they were talking about. I had a talk with him the next day and made sure wont do that shit again. Now he understands that he is more ore less saying fuck you to real Marines by posing, which he wouldnt want to do because he is thinking about joining. Some people are just ignorant and dont understand the severity of what they are doing.

Good job busting that guy Hopps.

Haha go Reds. I have a friend that runs the score board at Cinci home games, so I use his season pass whenever I want (and hes not using it).
