Hey everyone,
My name is Matt. I am currently an Infantryman in the Army National Guard. I did a deployment in Iraq, got back some time in September. I'm currently trying to do the whole college thing, but that's not working out too well at the moment so I've been trying to find a job in the law enforcement or security field. I decided to make an account on this site because it's really hard to find an Army forum/group where people aren't constantly flaming eachother. This looks like a really good community to be a part of. If you guys have any questions for me feel free to shoot me a PM or ask in a reply.
Thanks!

Welcome here, Welcome home, thanks for your service. If the "Whole college thing", is bothering you, just do a small part at a time while you are looking for work and after you find work. Sometimes just the fact that you are taking a class, looks good, when you are applying for employment.
Good Luck to you

Re: Introduction
I'm not new to the college or anything like that. I have over 70 credits, but I guess I just don't find it enjoyable to sit in a classroom anymore. I'm thinking of dropping my classes down to part-time and seeing how that goes, I'd rather not withdrawal fully until I can find some kind of work.BonesC75RVN wrote:Welcome here, Welcome home, thanks for your service. Part time is better then no time, when you already have 70 hours going for you. Good luck brother, and never give up.
