Greetings Rangers,
Tomorrow is the day for my Airborne Physical down at MEPS. Should be easy, I heard all you have to do is make your ears pop, and take some blood pressure. I'll be going down with another DEP who goes to my Recruiting Station, he has an Opt 40 contract.
Training goes as usual, I've been looking up a bunch of Ranger workouts from different sites as well as surfed around the Fitness section on this Forum. I would like to thank each and every Ranger on this forum for being an inspiration for me. Even though I signed an 11x Opt 4 contract, I will NOT give up in my pursuit to become a Ranger. Friends of mine, and a few DEPs I know, ask me why I push myself to the standards of Rangers, with my PT. I tell them because unlike those who have Opt 40 contracts, I'm not guaranteed a slot or a chance for RIP, which means I have to be faster, stronger, and better so that I may be offered a chance.
If any Rangers here have any words of wisdom or advice I would very much appreciate it. Once again, thank you all for your service to the country, as well as the Army. I only hope to one day become one of you, a US Army Ranger.

Re: Updated SITREP and Thanks
Rangers, I was also wondering how I could have a Ranger Mentor on this site? I was looking around but I can't find it, maybe I'm just not looking in the right place.
Thank you
