Rager Bill, I thought the Regiment needed 35Ps and 35Ns, which is what I'll become when I've completed my training. I was thinking that with the RSTB there would be more of a need for an MI mos, when I go to MEPS on Monday I'll see if they have anything the regiment needs.
here's the link to where I saw that Rangers needed 35p and 35n, I'm not sure when the list was updated last.

Thanks for the help, Rangers.

If you do not have the Opt. 40 in your contract then you are already putting yourself at a huge disadvantage on geting to the 75th RR. Try telling your recruiter that you will not sign unless there is Opt. 40 in your contract. Some times you have to treat those rercruiters and career couselors at MEPS like a used car salesman

Ranger Baseplate, my recruiter told me an option 40 isn't available with a 35w contract so I asked him to call and make sure, so he did and they don't give option 40 or even option 4 with a 35w contract because of the length of the training, which makes sense because it sounds like it would be difficult to reserve a spot at RIP 1 1/2-2 years in advance. I will try to get an opt. 40 again when I go to MEPS on Monday.
