FWIW, Google & Yahoo both use the same technique. They have a crawler that grabs the stories directly from the various wires and stick them in their news sections as if they did some work themselves. This actually highlights how bad the media is. They will sacrifice grammar, spelling and of course accuracy to "be the first to report".....

I came back off an engagement, landed, and all my boys coming on shift greeted us at the ramp and said we'd already made the news, and how'd it really go? then I went to debrief and Sqdn (different FOB) was going apeshit (pressure from BDE) about what the fuck did I do, and who the fuck authorized me to release two of those types of weapons?...

which wasn't as bad as happened to a buddy in the invasion. got a SWT in a fight, shooting, and the Sqdn commander is getting into their cockpits, and coaching their engagements because he's watching it in the TOC on CNN.
I've never told a LTC, but I have told a 3 and XO to get out of my cockpit, both seats were full and he wasn't helping, please get off my internal and back on your command net, I'll get back to you when I can.
