Update on Enlistment

Post by liquidforce37282 »

Hello Rangers, it's been a while since I posted last with my intro, but since then I chose to spread my fucking wings and go the route of becoming an Army Airborne Ranger! It took me 5 visits to meps, but I obtained my 11x Opt.40. I needed a med waiver because I have some hardware in my hand. They kept telling me that I couldn’t join and to think of another job in the army because I have screws in my hand and that Airborne and Rangers don’t allow that. Because of the info on this site, I kept pushing them there and on the 5th time there they finally gave me the waiver and I got my contract.
I tried to leave earlier but the earliest ship date for what I wanted was 20100104. A little bit of a wait, but at least this way I can cut my run time more and study everything Ranger. To fail isn’t an option.
My last PT test I took was last week and here are my results.
PU: 84
SU: 79
PU: 21
2 Mile: 13:52
