Re: Unknown bite
Could be a thorn puncture? I'd get it checked out quickly whatever it is, you don't want to mess around with MRSA and other secondary crap that may get in there.

Re: Unknown bite
I had a bite on the back of my leg from a jumping spider. I didn't think much of it until a few days later a piece of skin slothed off.

Re: Unknown bite
good call, it's not an ER visit, but needs to be looked at by a local Physician, he'll probably just give you some benadryl and send ya home, but it's way better to be safe than sorry!TC204 wrote:I called my DR's office, and should be getting in there tomorrow. Re: Unknown bite
Prolly some type of bite, based off not itching and the appearance. Spider maybe, but not a chigger (they itch like a motherfucker). Triple antibiotics and a good cleaning with soap ery day will keep the Dr. and MRSA away, maybe. Don't pick your nose before you clean it cause Staff loves living in our nozzles. (I did hear if you eat your buggars the body builds resistance to MRSA.......least thats what Zonk told me)
If it grows in size, continues to have fever, or you see red streaking up your leg, saddle the horse and go get some systemic antibiotics. If it gets too nasty (tissue rots and dies), they can debride it and slap a wound vac on it.
Vaughn, jumping spiders are our warrior brothers from another mother. They have a tad bit of venum, but are allowed to live and hunt freely around my place and will fight a Recluse or anything else their size. Recluse, Sac, and Da Widow, however, are on da hit list. Nice legs by the way.

The only spiders I kill are the ones that get sucked up into the vacum when I am cleaning the cob webs from the corners and behind the furniture.Rangertab1 wrote:
