Intro from Mom
Rangers, it is with great respect that I address you all. This is my first post, but I have been reading for quite some time. My Son is a 2/75 Ranger since Spring '08. He just started his 68 (or is it 69) days of hell this past Monday. Aside from the usual "Mom concerns", I know he is strong, proud, and confident because the Army has made him that way. My Dad was a WWII Army Vet and my bro-in-law is an Army vet of Korea and two tours in Vietnam. We are proud to support all of you Rangers and the fine work you have done and are currently doing. God bless you all.
P.S. I will get an avatar as soon as I figure it out!!!

Re: Intro from Mom
I have to correct myself--it's 62 days of hell . . . I guess I can't count! (Six or seven days doesn't sound like much, but I know it's like a lifetime for those men in Ranger School!!) Sorry for the mistake.

Welcome to the site and thank you for raising and supporting a warrior. You've come to the right place - lots of good information to read here, from folks who know the deal and are doing it.
I hope he gets his tab!

Excellent. Always like having parents come by and see what happens when their kids grow up. Im sure your son will turn out better than we did. Welcome here, Lady.

Well, it's about time Okie... I needed another state compadre on here. Mine is at the same Bat, in fact, we spoke briefly on GAP about a year ago. The best of thoughts for your Ranger! Don't forget to chat with us in the "Old People" pages.
