Re: Introduction
Rangers and others,
Posting an update. Haven't been on here for almost 2 years now, was deployed with my unit to southern Iraq doing a hodgepodge of stuff. Lots of route recon and also presence patrols in our AO mostly to secure it for the convoys coming up from Kuwait bringing precious Baskin Robbins ice cream and 42" plasma TVs for the PX.
Our AO cooled down as our deployment progressed; the unit we replaced did dumb stuff like shoot flares at kids and stir up trouble and payed for it. We took a nicer approach and were rewarded accordingly. Also had the surge going on as we were there which helped. Tried to extend with the relieving unit but they only needed SNCOs and officers. Back home now at Camp Couch and planning to finish school up this fall. On the volunteer list to go with any outgoing Guard unit headed towards Afghanistan, hopefully someone picks me up.

Re: Introduction
Rangers Jim and Silverback,
I am currently in Company A and I am not sure who the Hooligans are. If that's our HHC company, we like to joke that their company name is Tip of the Spear.
