Suggestions on how to make things work with another.......

Ok I'm having a hard time falling asleep.

I just took out the list the girls and I wrote when we were out Friday night of "How to make things work with another when things in life get out of hand......"

1. Stay calm. Some things are just beyond your control.

2. Be a bit emotionally detached when emotions start to get heavy.

3. Buy flowers. Or in the case of this crowd, firearms and ammunition :D

4. Give a hug, no talking is required. Better than words are expressions of affection, physical often being the best sort.

5. Write a heartfelt card or letter to reassure them.

6. Give them the necessary space they need. It is a wise way to pull back and cool down.

7. Listen and take the heat. People reflect when they are alone and come to talk when they are ready to in their own time.

8. Bake homemade cookies, brownies, cakes and send them some. :D

Any other suggestions to add to this list, no matter how crazy or off the wall they may be are welcomed.
