Enlisted in the Army February, 07
Completed OSUT on Fort Benning, June 07
Completed Airborne Training, July 07
Assigned to Fort Drum, 10th MNT Div 1st Brig 2/22 B Co, August 07
Served as PDM in Kirkuk, Iraq from September 07 - October 08

I have been on this site for a little over a year now, soaking up whatever wisdom I can find. I initially wanted to go to RIP straight out of OSUT but they weren't giving those contracts out to 11B's at the time, only 11C's. I barely got away with Airborne as I had to fight the whole company for that slot. I just reenlisted in Iraq for RIP and 1st Bat and I am anxiously waiting to continue on to my dream of being a Ranger, I have wanted nothing more since I joined the Army.

I appreciate your service to our country Rangers and I hope to join your ranks in the near future!

Welcome. How did you end up in 10th Motown after airborne? Good luck at RIP or should I say make your own luck 8)

Couldn't really tell other than I love Garage sales and I love my country, just kind of the name i've always used online.

I asked them the same question, they didn't have an answer for me. Everyone from my basic training that went Airborne with me ended up at Fort Drum as well, and we all hate it here. It's far to cold. I can't wait to go to Savannah and meet myself a Georgia Peach!
