Hello Rangers,

My name is David, and I am 18 years old. I signed my 11X Option 40 contract a week ago. My ship date is 13-MAY-2009.

I have spent a healthy amount of time reading very informative threads the past couple of days. Thank you, Rangers, for your service and for the knowledge you all have given to this site.

Welcome and congratulations for enlisting to become an Army Ranger. Best of luck to you in achieving your goal, with "luck" meaning preparedness meeting opportunity. You have the opportunity, so get yourself prepared. You have just a couple of months before you ship, so really focus on your physical fitness but be careful and avoid injury. Read and heed the ROE PM I have sent you.
