Peered out

Post by FNG »

Hello Rangers,
My recruiter told me a little story today - "my buddy went to RIP a few years back and got peered out, it's totally arbitrary, all it takes is one guy who doesn't like you and thats it."

How does the peer review actually go down, and more importantly, is it something I should use my time worrying about?

Thanks Rangers

FNG

P.S. I used the search button for "Peered out, Peer review etc" but didn't get anything definitive.

Rico is supposed to call me from there tomorrow so I can talk to my DEP, I'll see if he can get confirmation.

That being said, you have to consider the source, a recruiter's "buddy". Hmmmmmm....

RIP does not peer and it's not arbitrary. You either have what it takes or you don't. Those who don't make it are almost always quitters, some do get hurt and can't continue, and some can't pass the PT. What you're hearing is just another "I was was gonna be a Ranger but... insert excuse here... story." Peering is done at Ranger School.

I got peered out of my fraternity for getting drunk and beating up on the brotherhood after I got out of the Army. That what you mean?

. wrote:RIP does Peer, but it doesnt really mean anything unless you were already on the cadre's radar for being a turd. I only saw one guy get recycled for getting voted class zero. You also vote on who the biggest asshole is within the cadre. Pretty funny to read some of the stud's comments.
