Interesting Fact of the Day: The S. in Harry S. Truman did not stand for anything.
Fun Fact of the Day: Stephen King, the horror author, is afraid of the dark, so much so that he sleeps with a night light.
Not so Interesting Fact: Despite several studies, no one is certain how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop.

This one is not a surprise. There's far too many variables to make a consistent study - the quality of the lick-er, the quantity of the licking, to say nothing of the exact technique used to do it. There is an art and a science to licking.

Ardent Lady, I would like to give you the heads up that I would be very displeased if USAFA were to ban the forum. But besides that… Thank you for the pictorial demonstration!

Young Zoomie in training Spawn of Zonk, I would also be quite displeased if USAFA were to block this forum from your use. Have no concerns - I will continue to abide by the guidelines. You're welcome for the demostration. Take heed and enjoy!

That problem can be circumvented by the investigator recognizing the presence of little turds that smell similar to cough drops (eucalyptus)

Additional Zonk fun fact:

Koalas are sometimes called “Drop-Monkeys” by local Australians because the fuzzy little marsupials sometimes over eat on a particular berry that when ferments gets them drunk. Then they fall from their perch!

This info was provided to me by the only Aussie that I spent any length of time with. He also called a shit floating in water a “Blind Mullet” !
It also helps that koalas have two thumbs on each hand. :D
