Great news, Wazzle. I know how proud you are of your sons and, as a parent, can begin to understand what you and your wife may be feeling. Thanks for the updates.

Wazzle,
Wow, great news, thanks for the updates, keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Hummmm....maybe the motorcycle could mysteriously vanish for awhile, had to get expertly detailed in Thailand or something like that.... just a thought......

Have safe travels, Jenny

Outstanding news.. but the Crotch Rocket should dissappear for a bit. Seats do save lives, but unfortunately some are known to fail and break when a vehicle flips, which is why I'm a widower.

But it's good to hear he is making a speedy recovery.

God speed to the Fallen Ranger.

wazzle wrote:Yep, that is what is left of it. I just got back home after 4 days in Atlanta with him and one big load off is he has seen the pictures of the vehicle and knows the driver died in the accident. We had a long talk about who else was in the vehicle and the condition of everyone. He is taking all of that news very well. He started actual rehab today and has briefly walked to the bathroom once. Brain related, he seems to be just fine, has no problems with any memory, talking or anything of the sort. The broken clavicle and shoulder blade are going to be the slow healers.
I'm glad to hear that he is improving. Don't know what to say about the picture of the SUV. Wow. Not wearing a seatbelt is just plain stupid. I hope he sees that now. Thanks for the report.

I like that term, "guest slapper"
I think the guest slapper should be ready for a "slap" back.

I would expect nothing less.
how does the Regiment view this?

I don't know about the not wearing seatbelt business, and I haven't heard if the cause of the crash was alcohol related... But if anyone is in the vehicle with a drunk driver and they get a DUI they can be RFS'd as well. This has happened recently. There are slightly different circumstances here... and I don't know the story really.

I wonder what he would think if a total stranger came up to him and said, "I have something for you from your dad", and reached around and smacked him on the back of the head. Ha ha. Knowing his mentality, I think the guest slapper should be ready for a "slap" back.
He would have too be revived before he slapped back...... Bubba is just like that...

Glad too hear he is recovering.
