SGTVentris Introduction

Post by SGTVentris »

Hello,
I am currently serving on active duty as an Intel SGT with the MID 1/7th SF Group out of Ft. Bragg, NC. I joined the Army Reserves in 2003 and was deployed to Iraq in 2004. I decided to go onto active duty in 2007. I reclassed from commo to intel and then went to Airborne School in January 2008. I then went to RIP following ABN where I was med-dropped. I am really happy to be here and want to learn as much as I can so that I am as mentally and physically prepared as I can be when I try to go back to RIP in 2009.

I think Ranger school with Group will be the way that I go. I have two solders that want to go with me and we know a few Long-Tabbers that will help us to get ready. Part of me wants to go back to RIP as fast as I can, but I think that it would be a great experience to train with and go through the school with my soldiers.
