Anyone else have a Select Comfort Bed

Post by Oto-Man »

Just delivered yesterday.

I knew I needed a new mattress. I had no idea how right I was.

This morning is the first time in forever that I can actually remember NOT waking up and feeling like I got hit by a truck.

No knee, lower back, or neck pain -- Zero, Zip, Nada!!!

And it's a much better "rest". Relaxed, sound sleep. Woke up feeling like I actually got some sleep.

Wish I woulda pick one up years ago.

For the ladies:
the HH6 says setting it on 25 is like sleeping in a warm bath.

And for the mouth breathers:
Yes, you can set it on 100, throw some sod on top, use your ruck as a pillow, grab yer cho-cho liner...and feel right at home.

I had one for a year and I hated it so bad I traded it to my buddy for his temper-pedic(sp?). I couldn't be happier now.

I guess experiences may vary.

Hi,
For those looking for an economically priced suggestion, I have a memory foam (tempurpedic like) 8 inch mattress that was the best $260 plus tax (of course) investment I've ever made.

As Ranger Oto-Man posted I do not wake up with knee, hip, back, neck or shoulder pain like I did prior to buying this mattress, to date 3 or 4 of my friends have now gone to Wal-mart to buy one of these for themselves.

I tried one, but went with the Tempurpedic. It is much better for my back, neck, shoulder and hip. I also have the Tempurpedic neck pillow. The king mattress was about $2000 and the pillow was $160, but you can't put a price on a good nights sleep.

Mine is set at 100. It is the best thing I have found for my back.

Rode one again local and the wife changed her mind.

Slept on a Queen size Select Comfort at a hotel in Colorado Springs. It had only a single control and when I would get in the wife would bounce in the air. When I got out she would bottom out onto the frame.

I can still sleep under any and all conditions, but I really like my hammock.
But you prefer having SW and his plad jammies there, too.

Of those of you that have Tempurpedics, how long have you had them? I've been a little skeptical on how long they actually hold up compared to a "normal" mattress.
