I'll give you the name as soon as I get it.
If it's phony, atleast I'll know, and will be able to let them know.

'Pritiate it.
So...at this point you are passing at least third hand knowledge?

Ranger Silverback,
To my knowledge it's from SPC Fleming coming from the Ranger.

Also, this was not the intent of my post. I was not looking to stir up anything. I was simply looking for advice and by doing so I seemed to have caused a bit of a motion.

Sorry, again that wasn't my intent, in the least bit.

Some ears get perked up when you mention a fellow Batt boy.

Personally, I don't think you will get your shot at Basic because you are not on active duty. I could be wrong (in today's Army), but from what I know, it's not feasible.

Alright, deal Ranger RRDTm3.
Got the name just this morning.

SSG Curtis Gross.
Fleming said he was just recently released from the unit and is going Active SF now.

Now you can tear him apart for fun or find out He's the real deal. Have fun!

Now, where's my end of this shindig? :)

You end of the shindig may well mean that you'll meet RRD Tm3 someday.

SFC hit_it,
Under Normal circumstances, it'd be present.
But Ranger Kilted Heathen is no Normal circumstance.

SFC hit_it,

So I gather my chances are pretty much sealed, that the closest I'll get to serving in a Batt is in readings?

Im still going to go to Ranger School.
And I'm still going to be the best soldier I can be.
Maybe, if I do well, represent myself well, and work hard... something will open up.
Never give up, right?

I hear a VERY select few from the 4th POG get chances every year.
I'll keep my eyes and ears open and my heart ready. Never to give up.

No Curtis Gross was assigned to TFR in Somalia. There was a Gross from A Co, but the first name is different

Rangers Fishboy and Bravo57,
I'll verify the first name one more time.

That's a shame.
